Like many business, at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, Co-ordSport needed to quickly adapt their operations to accommodate remote working. Some of their team would be working both at home and in the office due to the nature of the business, being a warehouse and distribution centre, so a hybrid solution needed to be found.

They source and distribute specialist vehicle parts through a dealer network. Co-ordSport have built and run rally cars with many major teams and sponsors around the world, that have gone on to win the FIA championships and the SCCA North American Rally Championship.

"At the beginning of the pandemic, we had to make rapid changes, to our working patterns and infrastructure. Keeping our team, suppliers and customers safe were our top priorities. Next, was to gear up to remote working and keep business operations running smoothly.
"Luckily, we saw what was happening in mainland Europe and began adapting ahead of Government issuing guideline changes; circumstances were quickly changing. Firstly, shielding employees were sent home, a little later we sent the majority of our office staff to work from home.
"We had a narrow timeframe to ensure operations were not disrupted and I’m pleased to say that Superfast IT played a key role. Their efficient and rapid response meant that within 10 days, every team member could access the particular set of IT systems they needed to perform their job remotely.
"There were a lot of changes. Our distribution centre still needed some team members on-site and for the first month we trialled different staff rotations. The work Superfast did at the beginning of the pandemic meant that the team were able to seamlessly work from either home or the office, as we settled into the new norm.
